Your custom figurine, 3D-printed
Three ways to get your figurine.
Design it on Hero Forge, Eldritch Foundry or a builder like them, buy the STL file there and send it. Send a file or a link to a model. Or send photos, a sketch or an idea: we look at the model and send a quote.
Can you make a figurine from a photo?
In two ways. A lithophane or a relief made from your photo, at the price shown straight away. Or a figurine modelled from your photos: several angles, the size you want, and a quote to approve before we start.
A photo as a lithophane or a relief
Which size?
32 mm: the face is less sharp than in resin. 54 mm and 75 mm: filament shows the detail well. The example figure, on the Figurines page, is priced live at each size and finish.
Raw, cleaned up, primed or painted?
Raw, as printed. Cleaned up: supports removed, sanded. Primed: cleaned up, then a coat of white primer. Painted by hand by the studio, on quote. The times start at confirmation and are the ones the site shows.
Which material?
PLA, in fine layers. Several colours on one print, quoted by the studio. How many colours, and the finest layer, are the ones the site shows.
What we don't print.
Official miniatures and copies of them, and files whose licence doesn't allow printing by a print service.
Common questions.
Can you make a figurine from a photo?
Yes, in two ways: a lithophane or a relief made from your photo, at the price shown straight away; or a figurine modelled from your photos, quoted for you to approve before we start.
What size for a role-playing figure?
We print at 32, 54 or 75 mm. In filament, faces come out better from 54 mm.
Can you paint my figurine?
Yes, the studio can paint it by hand, on quote.
How long does it take?
The time starts when the order is confirmed and depends on the finish: raw, cleaned up or painted. This page and the order form show how long.
